A place for English speaking sofrim (scribes), magihim (examiners), rabbis and vendors of Stam (Torah, Tefillin and Mezuzah scrolls) from around the world to communicate, share ideas, ask questions and offer support and advice.
Is there any kula to permit a correction?
I don't think a tinok should've been asked (assuming he was). Now that he has, a posek mumchme should determine what to do.
Did the person covering the hei cover it properly? Sometimes the tinok does not have a 'good view' of the letter due to how the magiah was covering the bottom part. It could be that the tinok did not see or barely saw the regel. If it would of been covered more exact he would of surely read it correctly.I am only saying this since it looks obvious if it would of been covered exact, the child would of read it correctly.
