You have more than nine yudin so even with holes it's not a very good situation. Since it's the last parsha, it's not such an expensive exercise to change...
agreed. It should never have been sold like this. Due to this and the fact he's not Chassidish, the batim are not gasos and he's on the way to becoming a ben Torah I'm going to recommend he speak to his rosh yeshiva (and parents) to consider a better pair.
I agree that it is very irresponsible to sell this parsha. Forget the lack of conscientiousness and honesty but such a parsha is sure to come back and haunt the vendor, and likely damage his reputation.
